POLICIES & PROCEDURES
 
Reservations ​​
  • Breezewood Adventures prefers emailing or calling ahead for reservations. Walk ins are welcome however, you may not be able to get the equipment or trip you would like. Walk-Ins (Rentals and Shuttle Services) will be during business hours (9am-5pm). 

  • You must arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation.

  • Must be 18 or older to rent. Persons under 18 must have Guardian Consent. School Trips are an exception to this.

  • Personal floatation devices will be provided.

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking and no rental is secure without full payment.

Cancellations 
  • 15% cancellation fee if cancellation is made at least 1 week prior to rental reservation. 50% Cancellation fee if cancellation is less than 4 days prior to rental reservation. No refunds available if cancellation is within 24 hours of rental reservation under any circumstances.

  • Must provide Photo ID and Credit Card to rent equipment. Photo ID and Credit Card will be held until return of equipment.

  • Person(s) who made the reservation must be present at the time of rental check-out.

  • No refunds for early drop offs.

Late Fees 
  • ​If you are renting our equipment for multiple days, our equipment must be returned before 6:00pm on the final day of your rental agreement. 

  • A late fee of $30/Hour for every hour past 6:00pm will be added. After 9:00pm of the return date, a late fee of 2X the amount of your one day rental will be added for each additional day the equipment has not been returned.

  • We take late fees very seriously due to the fact that you would be infringing on another customers trip and experience.

Care Of Equipment
  • Equipment is always inspected by Breezewood Staff before and after rental to guarantee there is no damage. This ensures that all equipment is in good working condition before and after being out on the water. We will invite you to go through the inspection with our staff incase you have any question or discrepancies.This process also insures that the renter is at fault for any missing equipment, damages and cleaning fees. 

  • Customers are responsible for any damages incurred beyond normal wear and tear. Damages to kayaks, canoes and other equipment will be assessed at the time of return and charged accordingly.

  • If damages are found, there will be a minimum $100 charge for damages until Breezewood Adventures can make full assessment.  

  • $25 cleaning charge will apply to any boat returned in non-rentable condition. 

  • If equipment is not returned, renters credit card will be charged for the full amount of the equipment rented.

  • Severe damages rendering any of our equipment unfit for use will be charged in full to the renter.

  • Breezewood Adventures reserves the right to cancel or delay reservations without notice due to unforeseen inclement weather conditions that could cause a hazardous and unsafe environment. Cancellations made by us will be entitled to a full refund.

Rental Policies and Procedures are subject to change without notice. Breezewood Adventures reserves the right to refuse any person(s).

Listen, we are here for a good time. We don't want to get you involved with late fees, damage fees and other complicated stuff unless we have to. Just respect our stuff as if it was your own so we can all have a good time. We want you to have the best experience possible while in our care.
